An anique tibetan wooden trunk from west part of Tibet early 18th century ,. The chest features a lively gold zeebag in the center surrounded by colorful foliage patterns. The border of the chest features prints of a leopard on an yellow background. Note the sides are also painted with similar leopard patternsTibetan people belives that the yak skin could drive the bad luck away and keep the good luck stay.

Usually we use two layers to pack them, the inner layer is by the plastic foam, second layer(outside of the first layer) is the four-layers paper carton,big items finially packed with the strong plastic strip.usually 80-90 pieces of middle size chest can be fit into a 20- foot container .

Furniture from Tibet has always been quite rare. Except for the wealthy, Tibetans used very little furniture in their homes, and the population of Tibet has always been so small that not much was ever made. Most of it was probably always found in the monasteries, and of course most of these monasteries were destroyed by the Chinese during the "Cultural Revolution" along with huge amounts of furniture. Made primarily from pine and other Himalayan soft woods, it is noted more for its sometimes lavishly painted surface and/or carved decoration than for its joinery.
Tibetan furniture differs from other Oriental furniture by the frequent use of lacquer coatings ,hand painting ,and the precise carving , to acheive this unique style artisans must spend countless hours perfecting their craft, Tibetan furniture are usually large and heavy with miniaml hardware, they are ofen painted or decorated with sliver ,copper ,metal works and contain some carving or relife. Buffets . alter tables and consoles were common and would often houd incense burners and other buddhist relics. Chairw were very ornate and come in sveral classic styles that would be copied with slight varations, Table were constructed of haavey solid pine wood ,they were bulit low to the ground ,as chair were not popular and sitting on the floor was the morm for most of tibetan people praying .

The specifications for the painting style is very strict. However, the four seasons painting style is a clear and simple design and a relatively simple process. Therefore the price will be much lower and the average family can afford , usullay the designed pattern on the art furniture in Tibet painted a lot of flower , variety of animals , birds ect. most of the tibetan furniture an art furniture were all made of solild wood , usually tibetan pine wood.
